for our impacts on the environment, our employees and the local community.
Environment
• Complying with the legal requirements of the environmental legislation
• Setting objectives and targets, measuring progress and reporting our achievements
• Preventing pollution and minimizing it by reducing the use of harmful substances
• Using renewable energy sources like solar energy for hot water production
• Using water resources efficiently
• Reducing our waste producing and recycling all waste produced
• Working with suppliers to embed sustainability practices into our supply chain
• Raising awareness of our employees, customers, suppliers and the local community
Employees
• Complying with the legal requirements of employment and human rights legislation
• Respecting our employees and their culture, traditions and intellectual property rights
• Treating our employees equally regardless of their age, disability, sex, nationality,

• Ongoing training and professional development for all our employees
• Training our employee on our sustainability policies
• Allowing our employees to join a Trade Union and meet up to discuss employment
related issues
Local community
• Employing people from the local community wherever possible
• Maintaining a close relationship with our local community, ensuring that issues of
their concern are discussed and resolved
• Purchasing goods and services from local suppliers, wherever possible
• Encouraging our employees to volunteer for activities
• Making regular donations to charities
• Protecting children from all forms of abuse and exploitation, ensuring our staff are
trained so they know what to do if they suspect a child at risk, in or near our property
